Norma is survived by her husband of 42 years Wallace E. Davenport, Daughter; Barbara Jones, Son-in-law; Robert Jones, Granddaughter; Heather Barahona, Great Granddaughters; Isabella and Ava, Niece; Laurie Baker and Stepson; Tom Davenport,
Norma is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Virginia Ford.
Norma was a member of Westbury Church of Christ. She was a lifelong Astros fan, beginning with the Houston Buffs who played right around the corner from where she grew up. She was a caregiver who would help anyone in need. She "never met a stranger." Norma will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.
A visitation for Norma will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service will occur Monday, August 16, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A committal service will occur follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
