Ola A. Denny, age 86, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. Born in Charter Oak, Missouri, she was a loving and devoted pastor’s wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a counselor, a gifted singer and song writer, a seamstress and designer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Carl M. Denny; and sister, Billie Dove Mangold. Survived by: sons, Terry C. Denny and Dennis A. Denny and wife Kathy; daughter, Tami K. Denny; grandchildren, Jory Denny, Dena Denny, Cody Denny, Kristee Denny, Julie Mendoza, Keri Harrell, and Barry W. Smith, III.; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Rev. Donald McCool, Rev. Billy McCool and wife Betty, Rev. Bobby McCool and wife Shirley, Gary McCool and wife Katie, Rev. Spencer McCool and wife Joyce; and Lanny McCool and wife Vonnie; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial will be held at a later date to be determined.
