Oleata Ann Melvin , age 91, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in The Woodlands, Texas. Oleata is survived by her husbamd of 30 years, Charles; children: Sue Arceneaux (Carey), Glenda Ammons (Andy), Brenda Shipley (Don) James Ogden (Diane) David Ogden, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 at Earthman Resthaven. Oleata’s Celebration of Life will be 11:30 a.m. at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home, 1107 S. Pine St. Vivian, Louisana. Interment will follow at Vivian Cemetery.
