Olinda J. Williams

Mrs. Olinda Jones Williams departed this life on September 7, 2025. She was a native Houstonian and attended Booker T. Washington High School. She was employed at Kri Pax Bakery for many years and later worked as a Home Health Care Provider before she retired.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Williams; her parents, William and Bernice Haynes; her daughter, Mary Ellen Jones; her grandsons, Joseph Glenn Lawrence and Corey Lawrence; her sister, Cynthia Anderson; and her brother, Clifford Haynes.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Deborah Y. Jones and Jennifer L. Jones. Four sons, Reginald W. Gould, Jeffery G. Jones (Stacy), Darren D. Jones, and Phillip B. Jones (Sheila). Two sisters, Wanda, Sandra (Henry); six brothers, William (Harriet), Robert, Anthony, Kenneth (Melody), Michael and Malcolm. Olinda was blessed with seven grandchildren including including LaTrenda Jones, Yolanda Jones, Jerica Jones, Brittany Lawrence, Sherrika Lawrence, Jeffery Jones, Jr. and Gabriella Ogbechie; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She leaves to mourn her passing a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace in the arms of Almighty God.
