With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Omar Jassiel Bustos, who unexpectedly left us on October 9, 2026, at the age of 58. Omar was born on March 7, 1968, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, to Angelica and Eloy Bustos and grew up alongside Marie,Jose, Elena, Eloy, and Angelica Bustos.
Omar was a beloved father and cherished family member whose spunky personality, generous heart, and sense of humor made him truly one of a kind. He had a way of making life a little more entertaining and always left those around him with a story to tell.
He will be fondly remembered for his famous idiot trips, late-night Jack in the Box runs, car shows, and the countless memories made along the way. Whether it was a last-minute outing or simply spending time together, Omar knew how to make even the ordinary moments memorable. His personality was unforgettable, and life with him was certainly never boring.
As a father, Omar leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and life lessons. He may have done things his own way, but that was part of what made him who he was. The memories he created with his children, the lessons he taught, and the laughter they shared will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Though his passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled, his family will continue to celebrate his life through the stories, laughter, and memories he leaves behind. He will be remembered not only for how much he was loved, but for the joy, humor, and occasional mischief he brought into the lives of those around him.
Omar leaves behind his four beloved children, Angelica (Ozzy) Jankwitz, Jose-Omar Bustos, Ashley (Jackson) Brooks, and Amely Bustos; and his adored grandchildren, Ava and Ozzy Jankwitz.
While his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on for generations. His absence will be deeply felt, but his spirit will remain in every shared story, familiar laugh, and cherished memory.
May Omar Jassiel Bustos rest in peace. He was truly one of a kind, and life won’t quite be the same without him.
