Oscar is survived by his loving wife, Theresa; son Steven and wife Vanessa; granddaughter Alexis and grandson Cameron. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Rita Ayala, and his brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Whitworth.
Oscar enjoyed traveling, fishing, and loved working in his yard. His life was devoted to the love of his family and he will be greatly missed by all.
Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home located at 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023. The funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church located at 4015 Sherman Street, Houston, Texas 77003 with the interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
