Mrs. Jane,
What can i say. Otis was an amazing man, father, grandfather, great grandfather, husband, brother, uncle and MOST of all for me FRIEND! I was truely fortunate and blessed to have had Otis as my friend, we shared many laughs and walked many miles together. I will miss the conversations and Otis's perspective on things that often helped me see another point of view. I will never forget anytime i needed help he was always right there to lend a hand and always found a way to give me a little ribbing along the way. Two of my best memories /stories when we would frequent "Cat Fish Kitchen" they raised the price of the all you can eat buffet because of Otis and I.... the second was in my 1st home Otis helped me run an electric line to a fish pond i had built in the backyard. Me not having any tools went out and bought a $50 dollar shovel..... Otis never let me live that one down, he would ask me since i work in construction now if i was getting any use out of the shovel. He always had a way of making me smile. I will miss hearing Otis call me his "little buddy". Debi and I are so blessed to have known you and Mr. Otis. We Love You.

Some of my fondest memories of Otis Dee were at my Momma and Daddy's house in Dayton on the 4th of July.  Was always a wonderful suprise to see him and Jane and the kids pull up in the driveway.  Love always, Susie

We all can rest assured Uncle Otis was welcomed with open arms . Another angel departed to go and join with Ma and Paw-Paw, Dad, Uncle Lonnie , Aunt Angie,Aunt Bill, Big Momma and Bubba.. my heart goes out to my family in this time of loss, I love you all very much. There's nothing to be said to ease the pain of losing a brother,parent,spouse,
uncle,grandfather or friend.Cherish the memories and remember this is not goodbye, it's only until we meet again. A golden heart stopped beating,

Dear Jane, Many years have passed since I lived on Otterbury, where I first came to know y'all, but the memories are still fresh in my mind.  I truely am sorry for your loss, and pray God sends you His peace and comfort of knowing not only will you will see Otis again, but it will be in a MOST wonderful place where there is no more suffering. Well I guess heaven needed another "Classic Rocker".  I will always remember that Otis turned me onto all of the great new classic rock stations as they were rolled out.  First it was KL0L, then 93.7 The Arrow, and lastly 107.5 The Eagle.  Thanks for all of the wonderful memories.  You will be dearly missed!  Love, denise
