He was born on February 25, 1928, to Otto Joseph , Sr. and Vera Mae Hart Delahoussaye in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, Lena Lilley Delahoussaye, daughters Gail Narum and Mary Denise Seale and husband Pat, son-in-law Dennis Steen and daughter-in-law Shelley Samuels, grandchildren Nathan Delahoussaye, Natalie Piquette, Darren Fayard, William Steen, Taylor Steen, Courtney Seale and Avery Domenech and great grandchildren Hailey and Michael Delahoussaye, Brooks, Hazel and Jones Piquette, Caroline and Zachary Steen, and Otto and Milo Domenech, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved son Robert Michael Delahoussaye and beloved daughter Mary Theresa Steen.
Otto graduated from Jefferson Davis High School where he played on the golf team. He attended Texas A&M University after which he joined the U.S. Navy. He served on the aircraft carrier Valley Forge. After his service, he married the love of his life, Lena Lilley. Otto was an electrician with the local IBEW 716. He also partnered with friends Calvin Jolly and Mike Malone to form JDM Film Company. Many, many weekends were spent filming high school football games and local weddings..
Otto was a good, kind, and honorable man. He loved his family, his Aggies, the game of golf, and woodworking.
