Palmira Patricia Williams

Palmira Patricia Williams, known affectionately to all as Pat, passed away peacefully early in the morning on July 7, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy defined by profound community service, unyielding generosity, and a fierce devotion to her family.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Marcio and Guadalupe Peralez, her husband, James O. Williams, and her siblings, Mary Huntoon, Gloria Perez, Betsy McCarthy, Annie Garcia, Beatrice Bernal, and Marcio Peralez Jr.

Her spirit and lessons live on through her surviving family. She is the devoted mother of Deborah Aguillon, Eugene Williams, and Tracey Haley. She is the cherished grandmother of Amy Nichols, Charles Adams Jr., Rose Williams, Megan Eggenberg, and Cullen Garrett. Her light also shines forward through her eight beloved great-grandchildren.

Pat was a woman who built comfort with her own hands. An avid enthusiast of crocheting and needlepoint, she crafted lasting treasures for her children, extended family, and friends. Every intricate stitch was a tangible reminder of her warmth. Her greatest joy was simply spending time surrounded by the people she loved, filling every room with her distinctive generosity and infectious joy.

Beyond her home, Pat was a fierce pillar of strength for her community. She dedicated 15 years of her life as a volunteer Domestic Violence Victims Crisis Advocate for the Corpus Christi Police Department. In this vital role, she stepped into the lives of countless strangers during their darkest hours. She championed their personal safety, defended their rights, and offered a lifeline of empathy when it was needed most.

As a mother, Pat gave her children gifts that time cannot erase. She imparted a deep sense of honor, a resilient hope, and the self-esteem needed to navigate the world. She was her family’s greatest champion, constantly reminding her children that they could do absolutely anything they set their minds to. She anchored them with a vital piece of family wisdom, often repeating the words of their father that you are only as good as your word. Pat lived by that standard every day.

Her absence leaves a profound void, but her words, her advocacy, and her love remain a guiding light for everyone she touched.

A Committal will take place at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039, US, on July 13, 2026, at 1:00pm.
