

She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Dr. Alfred E. Banks at KMBC, the Temple of Glory. For the love of children, she worked as the Youth Director, putting on holiday plays and programs at KMBC, the Temple of Glory.
Pamela loved children so much, she worked as a Director of childcare for over twenty years. Pamela flew to different states in order to advance her knowledge of childcare. After that she joined her sister’s company, Real Comfort Living and served as Transportation Director for the aged and disabled.
Pamela loved her family very much. Being the baby of the family, she expected everyone to do what she said. Pamela loved to plan trips and outings to bring everyone together.
Pamela attended and graduated from East Bernard Independent School district and was a true Brahma to the end.
On August 24, 2021, Pamela transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermis and Thelma Hayes, her brother Michael Hayes,Sr. his daughter, Jasmine Hayes and her beloved pet, Jecepi.
She leaves to cherish her memories, the love of her life, Tabi Chu, her two God-children, Xavier Chu and Khalia Fountain, her sisters, Diane Crump, Elaine Hayes, Barbara Hayes, Michelle Hayes, Jeannette Hayes-Curtis(Clyde), her two brothers, Vance Hayes(Irene), Kermis Hayes, Jr. (Tina), a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
