Panagiotis “Pete” Provolisianos, 76, passed away October 11, 2010. He was the owner of Pete’s Bar-B-Q. He was born March 21, 1934 in Kefalonia, Greece, son of Andreas and Amalia Provolisianos. Pete was a resident of Houston for the past 45 years. He enjoyed cooking and was owner of several restaurants during his years in Houston. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons Michael and Alex, daughter-in-law Marilen, and grandsons; Little Pete and Sandros. He was also loved by numerous nieces and nephews in Houston and Greece. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm on Friday, October 15, 2010, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, TX. 77023, with a Trisagion prayers at 6:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am at St. John The Theologian Greek Orthodox church, 202 North Walnut St., Webster, Texas 77598. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
