Paschal Joseph Aucoin, Jr. peacefully passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born on October 11, 1932 in Houston, Texas to Paschal Joseph and Gladys Blazek Aucoin. His aforementioned parents preceded him in death. Paschal is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Elizabeth Aucoin; his children, Elaine Schroller and her husband Gary, Michelle Allums and her husband John and Caroline Brown; his grandchildren, Alex Schroller, Abigail Kauffman and her husband Cade, Elisabeth Allums, Travis Brown Stephen Brown and Matthew Brown; his sister, Anne Jordan and her husband John. Mr. Aucoin was a graduate of St. Thomas High School, Rice University, University of Texas at Austin and earned his PhD in Mathematics from UCLA. Mr. Aucoin retired from Lockheed Martin and subsequently became and avid avocational archaeologist and a Texas Historical Commission Archaeological Steward. Mr. Aucoin is a direct descendant of Samuel Paschal who fought at the Battle of San Jacinto. The family will receive friends at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home between 12:45 and 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the Colonial Chapel in the main building prior to a 2:00 PM Graveside at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
