

Patricia Ann Ferguson Busch, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and Godmother, died July 18, 2013 at the age of 85. In 1947, in Baytown, she married Wyatte Selkirk (Kirk) Busch, Jr. and they were married until Kirk’s death in 1991. Pat was creatively, energetically, and intelligently multi-talented and loved traveling. She expertly raised four children and was extremely important in the lives of all her grandchildren. Fun-loving, she gave of her time, treasure, and talents to others and her church, and was always accepting of the ways of others. She was a longtime member of first, Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Pasadena, then of Saint Alban’s Episcopal Church in Austin.
She is survived by: daughters Becky and husband J. Markham Collins and Mary Ann and husband Paul Marucci; sons David and wife Nel Busch and Tim Busch and fiancée Tena Mikula; granddaughters Chris Collins, Crystal and husband Adrian Cruz, Lauren and Cami Busch, and Tia Busch; grandsons J.D. and wife Tammy Busch, Erik and Joseph Busch, Dan Collins, Ben and wife Sara Collins, Julian and Wyatt Marucci; great-grandchildren Nik Lara, Elaina Foreman, Jossilyn and Kensington Busch, and Elliot Cruz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and God-children.
The family welcomes visitors from 4 to 7 pm, Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 am, Monday, July 22, 2013 at Christ Church Cathedral, 1117 Texas Ave., Houston, TX 77002. Rev. Jim McGill officiating. Reception to follow at church.
