Mrs. Ingels was a graduate of Northwestern University, Illinois and was a 75 year member of Phi Beta Phi. She retired from Shell Oil as an executive secretary; was an active member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, and voluntered at M. D. Anderson and Texas Children's Hospitals.
Preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Ingels in 2002. Survivors include her children, Irene Jones and Donn Ingels; grandchildren, Tricia Reece, Justin Jones, Tanner and Gannon Ingels; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Noah Reece, Caullian and Preston Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive, Houston TX 77024.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be directed to Edna Gladney Home, Ft. Worth, TX or to Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
