PATRICIA MCCARTER CARR READ was born on May 18, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away on September 30, 2010 in Pasadena, Texas at the age of 71. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Ida Mae Waller McCarter; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Johnson. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Grice and her husband O.J., Teresa Pegues and her husband Kevin; three sons, Steven Wayne Hunter, David Marshall Hunter and his wife Trish, Nathan Lowell Terence; two brothers, Kelvin McCarter and Douglas McCarter along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will be held at 2:30 PM in Largent Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas.
