Patrick Thomas Konieczny

Patrick Thomas Konieczny, 66, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. Patrick was born November 13, 1959, in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, and first grade sweetheart of 28 years, Diane Konieczny and parents Florian and Dorothy Konieczny.

Patrick was born and raised in the Houston Heights area. He attended All Saints Catholic School, Northwest Junior High (Assumption Catholic Church), then St. Pius X High School. After graduation Patrick began his 46-year career at Oteco, Inc. He began in the warehouse and was promoted to inside sales, the role he retired from. Patrick took pride in saying that he was able to work at one company his entire career. His work ethic that he taught his family was one of a kind. Patrick may have had a stern and unapproachable look at times, but once you got to know him, his infectious laugh would liven up a room. Patrick loved his family and was proud of his Polish roots. He had so many stories from the past and the description he provided always showed his excitement to share. To Pat: Your family loves you and knows you are at peace.

Patrick is survived by oldest son, Kyle Konieczny, wife, Emily Konieczny and grandson, Lane Konieczny. Youngest son, Adam Konieczny. Brother, Gerald Konieczny, wife, Nora Konieczny, and niece, Grace Konieczny. Brother-in-law, Randy Wagner, wife, Charla Wagner and niece, Shelby Wagner.

The family welcomes guests to the viewing on Monday April 13, 2026, from 5pm-8pm at the Heights Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 6pm later that evening. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2026, 10am at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, Houston, Texas 77018. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
