Paula Galvan Ruiz, 102, passed away July 13, 2011. She was born January 26, 1909 in Brownsville, TX. She was the oldest of 10 children. She is survived by her children, Antonio Ruiz and wife Margarita, Maria de Rosario Guajardo and husband Lorenzo, Rita Ruiz Martinez, Paula Cantu and husband Albert; 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. We love you and will miss you "Mommy". Your memory will remain in our hearts forever.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Forest Park Lawndale's Main Chapel from 5-9pm with a 7pm Rosary to be recited. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1505 Kane Houston, TX 77007. Interment following service at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
