Paula Valdez, age 83, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 in Houston, Texas. She was born in Mexico and came to the USA as a Missionary of Carmelite of St. Teresa. She is survived by her sister, Sr. Ines Valdez, C.M.S.T., and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m,. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Missionary of Carmelite of St. Teresa, 9600 Deer Trail Dr., Houston, Texas 77038, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2013, at Missionary of Carmelite of St. Teresa. Rite of Committal will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
