Pauline Ann Ohsie

Pauline Ann Hartsfield Ohsie, born October 26, 1936 in Houston, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Pauline graduated from Milby High School in 1954 with the goal of being a secretary. Over the years, she worked as a legal secretary for several firms retiring from The Talaska Law Firm. Pauline was a member of First Baptist Church of Pasadena for over 20 years and volunteered in homebound ministries. She also volunteered with Houston Hospice and Houston Metro Police Department. Pauline enjoyed traveling with her husband William (Bill), especially in their trailer, visiting many state parks.

Pauline's survivors include her beloved husband of twenty years, William Arthur Ohsie; her brother, William Jackson Hartsfield Jr. and wife Billie Faye Hartsfield; her three daughters, Deborah Ann Carlisle, Sandra Jill Flanagan and husband Arthur Thomas Flanagan and Kathy Lou Carlisle; grandsons, Michael Charles Hilzendager, Jospeh Ronald Atkinson, Terry Lee Traugott and Andrew Thomas Flanagan; granddaughters, Erica Jill Flanagan, Tara Marie Flanagan, Jessica Leigh Acton and Jennifer Glenn Lambright; great-grandson Joseph Ronald Atkinson, Jr.

Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter Shirley Lynn Traugott.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6-8pm.

Funeral service will begin at 10am on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in the Main Chapel of Forest Park followed by interment in the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

A Reception following the service will be held at First Baptist Church in Pasadena.
