September 7, 1977 – January 5, 2026
Pedro Pablo Villegas, known affectionately as Peter, passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 48, surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of Houston, Texas, Peter was deeply loved and will be remembered for his brave spirit, compassionate heart, generosity, hard work, sense of humor, kindness, loyalty, thoughtfulness, and wisdom.
From a young age, Peter was known for his positive outlook on life and his ability to offer guidance and comfort to those around him. He was a devoted big brother, a fun-loving and goofy uncle to his nephews and niece, and above all, a loving and dedicated father.
Peter was the proud father of his daughters, Sophia Avery Villegas and Xiomara Adamariz Abrego, and his son, Enrique Miguel Abrego. His children were his greatest joy, and his love for them was unconditional and unwavering.
Peter had a passion for cooking and loved bringing family and friends together through food. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known as a true jack of all trades—someone family, friends, and neighbors could always rely on, especially during difficult times.
Peter’s presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to those who knew him. Though his loss leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy of love, generosity, and resilience will live on through the many lives he touched.
The family sincerely thanks everyone for their prayers, kind words, and support during this difficult time. As we remember Peter, we hold close the words:
“When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
