Born in Houston, Texas she was a graduate of Reagan High School and a member of the Reagan Red Coats drum and bugle corps, as well as the Reagan High School ROTC. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a devout Christian and servant of the Lord.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the focus and joy of her life and she cherished the time she spent with them. She was a tremendous influence in the lives of her grandchildren in particular and was a beloved grandmother.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack Kirwin Curry. She is survived by son Randall L. Curry and wife Daphne, daughter Kelly Ann Hinson and husband Stan; grandson Doug Hinson and wife Jessica, granddaughter Claire Hedges and husband Phil, granddaughter Hayley Theiss and husband Nathan, and granddaughter Christina King and husband Matt; great grandchildren Luke and Emma Theiss, and Kyle and Avery Hinson, and numerous nieces.
In her later years Peggy enjoyed great care and comfort from Hilda Thacker and Rocio Lazo as well as other close family and friends.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday November 14th at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday November 15th at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home.
