Pete Anthony Salvato was born on February 23, 1955 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston , Texas, along with his twin sister, Pamela Antoinette. Pete attended Catholic schools through graduation from St. Pius X High School. Upon graduation, he attended vocational trade school and has owned his business Mechanical Hi-Tec Solutions/ACR Mechanical for 40 years. Pete cared deeply for the people he worked with and worked for throughout his career, many of whom became his dearest friends.

Loving family members include his beloved son, Jeff; his cherished granddaughters, Kennady and Karlie; dearest sisters Vickie, Patsy, Pam and Cynthia; and favorite brother, Mike; also many adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pete stepped into the role as head of the family upon the death of our beloved father, Tony, and has been the rock we relied on. He then looked after our beautiful mother, Leona, until her passing. A man of few words but a heart so full of love, completely selfless, only wanting the best for his family and friends. He always put everyone else first, and his greatest joy came from making sure everyone else was being taken care of. Pete is the Best of the Best, and we know that his reward is a magnificent home in God’s Kingdom.

The leisure time Pete enjoyed was in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing - really everything having to do with nature - Especially if it included Jeff and Kennady and Karlie.

His family will miss him every day forever. He will always be deep within our hearts. The blessing that Pete and our entire family is most grateful for is our family. We are all thankful that God was so generous to us in giving us the closest and most loving family. Pete was especially mindful and appreciative of all of his family and friends. And Pete is truly a most special blessing to all of us.

They just do not come any better than Pete. It was so sad to hear of Pete's death. I played football with Pete. I want the younger family members to know what a great teammate and athlete Pete was. He was our left cornerback and deep return man. He was more talented than most of us. I never remember him missing a tackle or even bobbling the ball on a punt or kick-off return. He was just so solid, so quick, so smart, so dependable, so selfless. He was really, really good. To a man we all love Pete. Pam we all love you. We wish the Salvato family all the happiness possible. Thanks Pete. RIP

Uncle Pete,

I am proud to be your nephew. We have such a strong family and I am proud to be a part of it.
I have so many memories of you. You employed me, my brother, and my best friend. During that short employment I still to this day tell stories about things that were done or said on the “job site”..........
But I can honestly say that my best memories of you were probably within the last 10 years. I saw something special whenever you became a grandfather that was truly amazing. So blessed to see you in that role, and I will never forget that.

Pete was a man who had a strong character. He taught me so much and showed me kindness and love. He treated me as if I was part of his family. I appreciate the opportunity to know and work with this man who was honest, respectful, Knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor( funny)
A man who cares a great deal for his family and everyone around him.
It’s hard for me to believe that he’s gone.
We spent the last 12 years together.
He was a role model and a tremendous friend and I will miss him. I know he’s in a better place I know he believes in God. And I want to say Pete will always be in my memory and I want to say rest in peace my brother. God be with his family.

Dear Pete
I have so many fond memories like Christmas, Thanksgiving & spaghetti dinners with this great big Italian family. We shared so many wonderful times together and when I think back how much you always made me laugh. I was honored to be your sister in law for 25 years. I will always remember your kindness and your laughter and your commitment to this Amazing family I was fortunate to be a part of. My heart will always be filled with memories and joy never to be forgotten. Rest in peace Pete.
