Dr Crow (becuase it's ridiculous they never gave him his PhD) was the most influential person in my life.  He changed everything about the direction I went.  I'm sorry it took me so many years to face my own fear of mortality to pay him the respect he derserves. Rest in peace. You are remembered. 

Phil was a wonderful and interesting friend.  We were youngsters together at Houston Community College.
I was always impressed with Phil's intellect and his joie de vivre.  I have often thought of the great times we spent together with other friends.  Phil, you will be missed!

Phil was my first supervisor at Houston Community College.. He was a fair and very knowlegable person and treated all of the History Faculty with respect..He was my personal friend...

Phil was a wonderful and interesting person.  He always made me feel comfortable, always seemed to have a smile on his face, and approached life with passion.  I have a kaleidoscope Phil made years ago that I treasure.   Linda is in my thoughts. I enjoyed working with her in Lone Star Committees and I wish her the best.

Linda, Shannon, Erin, my deepest sympathy to each of you.  Phil was a dear friend and colleague...always the gentleman. I have fond memories of our days at HCCS. I am blessed to have known Phil, and will miss his presence on planet Earth.

Dear Shannon,
Your dad was a kind, funny, strong, brilliant, handsome, caring, and charming man. I liked him from the moment I met him, because he was so darn genuine. I enjoyed talking with him and hearing you talk about him over the decades. I feel honored to have known him. His devotion to you never wavered, and you were--and always will be--his pride and joy. Your dad was an amazing man who loved you very much.

I will always carry cherished memories of Phil with me. The time I spent with Phil, Linda, and Erin have been some of my warmest and most wonderful memories. He will be missed. All my love to Linda, Erin, Shannon, and all of Phil's family.

Phil Crow was a wonderful teacher and a brave and loyal friend. He was intelligent, dignified, funny - a lovely person. I will miss him. I glad he was in my life.

Historian and Professor Phil Crow has a legacy at LSC-North Harris. His love of books, and the frequent and in-depth historical conversations will always be remembered.
