

Phillip started kindergarten in Southport, Florida.
Phillip excelled at all levels of school and was well-liked by everyone he came into contact with.
He developed a love for horses at an early age which continued through high school.
Phillip attended one year of college at University of Tampa, Florida.
In his early 20’s, he moved to San Antonio, to experience life in a big city.
Then in the late 1980’s, he relocated to Houston.
Phillip met Steve on May 23, 1992.
Phillip was driven to work hard. He started working as a technical writer in 1993, then, by teaching himself, became computer-savvy. By 1999, he was an I.T. manager of a software start-up.
In 2001, Phillip and Steve settled at their new home, “The Castle”, in the Houston Heights.
In 2001, the day before tropical storm Allison hit central Houston, Phillip and Steve found a little puppy in a parking lot and named her Allison.
By 2005, Phillip had gone on disability, and almost died 3 times.
In 2012, Phillip and Steve adopted a beautiful brindle-coat dog named Stoli.
Phillip and Steve and their many friends enjoyed their years at The Castle.
Phillip’s favorite television shows were LOST, Battlestar Galactica, The Vampire Diaries, and The Leftovers.
Phillip’s favorite number was 23; he was born on the 23rd, he met Steve on the 23rd, the number 23 is a prime number and was one of the six numbers used in his favorite television show, LOST.
Phillip passed quickly, and at home, on August 23, 2016.
