

Phillip Ray Rogers, age 51, passed away July 9, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Born in Houston, Texas, he was employed as a Senior Inspector with The Harris County Fire Marshall’s office, and had previously served in the Texas State Fire Marshall’s office, Fire Marshall, Alvin, Texas; and he worked as an electrician. He volunteered for 28 years, starting at the age of 16, with the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department, and is a lifetime member. He is survived by daughter, Michelle Reynolds and husband Jonathan; grandson, Cameron Reynolds; daughter, Tracey Rogers; mother, Mary Airola Smith and step-father, Alan; father, Billy Ray Rogers and step-mother, Linda; brother, Brian Rogers and wife Shannan; nieces, Chandler and Skylar Rogers; nephew, Trevor Rogers; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Earthman Resthaven. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
