Phyllis H. Smith, 87 of Houston, TX passed away on March 14, 2020
Born on May 19, 1932 in Tipton Township, Cass County, Indiana, she is the daughter to the late Harry and Bertha Mather.
Phyllis graduated from Logansport High School on June 1, 1951.
On April 4, 1955, she married David Allen Smith, of Logansport.
Phyllis was a dedicated and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also served as the President of the NCO Wife’s Club
She is preceded in death by her Husband David Allen Smith, Mother Bertha Marie Mather, Father Charles Harry Mather and Step-mother Irene Mather.
She is survived by her children Deborah Normyle, Barbara Davis and husband Larry, Kim Schroeder and husband Scott, Denise Baker and husband Jim, and David Smith.
Grandchildren- Jason Davis and wife Chawnree, Courtney Smith and husband Ricky, Connie Stevens and husband Mark , Nathan Schroeder and wife Michelle, Brittany McClure, Andrea Kutac and husband Dalvin, Alyssa Schmidt, Starr Normyle, Mikaela Smith.
Great grandchildren- Blake, Savannah, Trey, Kaden, Fay, Canyen, General, Jett, Mason, Collin, Harleigh, Easton, Avery, Landon, and Haleigh.
Sister Lois Jean Garrett of Virginia and Brother Larry Dean Mather and wife Karen Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on March 30, 2020 from 9am-12pm at Earthmans Resthaven. Any flowers or arrangements can be sent to the below,
