

Phyllis was born, July 26, 1945 in San Antonio to the late Kenneth W. and Ione M. (Berry) Kuhl. Phyllis graduated from high school in San Antonio, Texas and while attending San Jacinto Junior College never waivered in her 4.0 GPA.
A jack of many trades, Phyllis spent the majority of her career in accounting in several different industries. Phyllis retired from work life in 2014 to spend more time with her family, her fur babies and her spiritual life. Strong in faith, Phyllis was an active member of Bay Area Second Baptist church and participated in an adult spiritual studies group until health issues limited her ability to be independent.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Jenissa Kay Lillard and husband, Rick, and Danyel Christine Smith and husband David; her cherished granddaughters, Lindsey Kay Galanos and husband Paul, Brittany Morgan Russell and husband Chris, Carly Ann and Kaysie Marie Smith; and her great grandchildren, Jaylyn Kay, Danyel Marie, Kylee Rayne and Aubrey Rose; along with numerous other relatives and a host of good friends.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Wilson and sister, Darlene Boatman.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 16th from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Forest Park Funeral Home 6900 Lawndale St., Houston, Texas 77023. Graveside services to be held Wednesday, June 17th at 10:00 AM.
