Rachel De La Garza Cardenas

Rachel was born to Alberto De La Garza and Maria Marroquin De La Garza, February 22, 1949, in Houston, Texas.

She is survived by: Christopher Cardenas (Son), She also leaves to cherish her memory Christina De La Garza Flores (Sister), Alberto De La Garza (Brother). Rosamaria Flores (Niece) Amy De La Garza (Niece) Joe Albert Flores (Nephew) and Eric De La Garza (Nephew).

She was preceded in death by Alberto De La Garza, (Father), Maria Marroquin De La Garza, (Mother), and Mary De La Garza Salmeron, (Sister).

Rachel worked for Dr. Hernandez for over 20 years, ultimately retiring from her role as office manager.

Visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, Grand Chapel,on April 29, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery on April 30, 2026, at 10:00 am.
