Ralph August Janisch

Ralph August Janisch, born May 8, 1922 to Edward and Louise Janisch in Houston, Texas, passed away June 23, 2013 in Houston. Mr. Janisch is preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Gladys Janisch. He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Alice Yvonne Janisch; children, Debra Flaherty, Brenda Thomas and husband, Bobby, Michael Janisch and wife, Suzanne, and Ralph Edward Janisch and wife, Jeannie; grandchildren, Kelly Kock and husband, Matt, Sherri Harrah and husband, Greg, Cody Flaherty and wife, Catherine, James Flaherty, Bradley Janisch and wife, Meredith, Brian Janisch and wife, Jessica, Jeremy Janisch, and Samantha Janisch; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Emma Johnson and husband, Bob, and by numerous other family, special friends, and neighbors.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Houston, Texas.
