Passed away on July 28, 2018

Ramon Patricio Espinosa was born in 1954, in Mexico City, Mexico. HIs parents were Ramon Espinosa of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, and Ursula Espinosa, originally from Chicago, Illinois. Ramon lived in Cuernavaca until the high school years when he moved to Darien, Connecticut, and then to Houston where he graduated from Bellaire High School. In 1973, he enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Geology. He returned to Houston in 1982 and spent the next 30 years in his business, R.E. Designs, where he did both architectural plans and remodeling. He worked on homes all over the Houston and Galveston area, and even Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Shirley, and their daughter Kimberley of San Diego, California. He also leaves behind his beloved brothers Michael and Daniel and their extended families.

Ramon was a happy, compassionate and giving man. He will be so missed, but leaves behind his talent and craftsmanship on the homes he transformed, especially his own.

So sad to learn of the passing of our dear "Nicas" as we knew him in Cuernavaca. So glad as my brother and I were able to share memories with him, if for a little while. Resting in Jesus embrace.
