Ramona Olivares

Ramona Olivares, 73, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011. Mrs. Olivares leaves behind a loving family that was by her side until the final moment of her passing; her husband Ciro Olivares, son Ciro Olivares, Jr. and his wife Cyntia, and daughters; Sandra Harrington and her husband Raymond, Diana Olivares and Patricia Olivares. She had five grandchildren; Cynthia, Jason, Erik, Natalie, Vincent, II, an honorary grandchild, Jordan and one great grandchild, Cayden. Mrs. Olivares is also survived by her sister Maria Esther Olivares, her husband Ramiro Olivares, their children Chayo, Roland, Ramiro, Jr. and Ruben and their spouses and children, all whom held a special place in her heart and formed an extended part of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her sister Raquel and Alicia and mourned by her surviving brothers and sisters, Librado, Manuel, Ruben, Gilberto and Juanita and their spouses and children. The family will receive friends Monday, March 28, 2011 at 5 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, Texas 77023. A rosary will be recited later that evening. A final viewing will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church, 915 Zoe, Houston, Texas 77020, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
