Ray Louis Stevens

Ray Louis Stevens, age 70 passed away on Monday February 4, 2019. He was born September 22, 1948 to Mavis Lunsford Stevens and Dr. Thomas Hood Stevens, Sr. M.D.
Ray was a graduate of Reagan High School in the Heights. He served in the US Army during Vietnam before being honorably discharged in 1971. Ray worked for Brown and Root, Summers Electric, Harle Services, and Wholesale Electric before retiring.
He is survived by; brothers, Thomas Hood Stevens, Jr. and Ralph Sanders Stevens III; sister-in-law, Charlotte Carrington Stevens; nephews, Thomas Hood Stevens III, Barry Warren Stevens, Frat E. Davis, and Jeff Davis; nieces, Afton Danielle Johnson, Mary Davis Wiltse, and Dianne Davis.
Ray was preceded in death by; father, Dr. Thomas Hood Stevens, Sr. M.D.; mother, Mavis Lunsford Stevens; sister, Mary Ann Davis.
A memorial gathering for Ray will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008.

I hadn't seen Ray in years, but we once spent at least 2 nights a week together with you and your ex-wife. You had a unique personality and it is sad to hear that you are gone forever. I'll see you again one day and give you one gigantic hug. Your looks never changed.
