Shorty is survived by his brothers Johnny (Carol) Kuboff, Dave (Diane) Kuboff; sister Susan (Charles) Salvaggio. Children, Tammy (Randy) Rogers, Robyn (Donald) Evans, Marc Ray; grandchildren, Trista (Mark) Whitt, Cody (Margaret) Rogers, Cory Evans, Carson Evans and Caelyn Ray; great-grandchildren, Easton Rogers, Mason Rogers, Thad Whitt and Sloan Whitt. His friend Mary Langley.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Cole, his father, John Kuboff, the first love of his life, Patricia “Pat” Cole, and he was lucky enough to have a second love of his life, Cynthia “Cookie” Cole.
He started out his construction career at the age of 17 in Houston before he and Cookie made the trip out East, in 1987, to make Savannah their home. Shorty has been a car lover from an early age. He was a part of the Lightening Rod Car Club in Houston and then joined the Dixieland Cruisers Car Club after moving. Shorty lived out his days loving Savannah.
There will be a graveside service in Houston, Texas at Memorial Oaks Cemetery (13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079) on Saturday, December 3rd at 11am.
