Rebeca G. SanMiguel

Our beloved mother, Rebeca G. SanMiguel (Mama-Rebeca), 90, passed peacefully in her home in Houston, Texas and joined our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 7, 2021. She was surrounded by family who sang to her, prayed with her, loved on her, and held her as she went peacefully to Heaven.

She was born on February 25, 1931, in Cadereyta Jimenez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Her parents were Gregoria Flores and Isabel Gonzalez-Salinas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Enrique SanMiguel; sons Sergio SanMiguel, and Mario SanMiguel; parents Gregoria Flores and Isabel Gonzalez-Salinas; and her only brother Ramiro Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memory are her 11 children, Carlos J. SanMiguel & Family, Jesus SanMiguel & Family, Roberto SanMiguel & Family, Raul C. SanMiguel & Family, Rolando SanMiguel & Family, Gregorio SanMiguel, Maria G. SanMiguel & Family, Rebeca SanMiguel, Ruth I. SanMiguel-Leal & Family, Yolanda SanMiguel-Tobias & Family, and Norma SanMiguel & Family who loved her dearly. She also leaves behind numerous grandkids and great-grandkids, who held a special place in her heart, along with many family and friends.

Our mother made a lasting impression on everyone she met, and her legacy will live on. She truly lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people who cherished & adored her. She will be missed so much but we know she is in the arms of God who welcomed her home with those sweet words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant-Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord" (Matthew 25:21).
