My old friend I have the fondest memories of our younger day’s , all good none bad .. I do think of you and miss you ....

Reg it has only been a year since you passed on, but man it seems a lot longer. Not much has changed since you have gone, but this world is poorer without your laugh and can do attitude. Rest easy old friend.

We can't believe it has been one year since you left us and even though you are no longer here with us your memory and spirit will always live on in our hearts. You remain in our thoughts and prayers and always will. We miss you.

Dad, it has been a year since you've left this world but I will always treasure the good memories that we shared and I will always admire how you faced each day with a smile and positive energy up until the end. I know that you are watching over us, and with us always, especially Michael. Rest in peace, and I will see you again someday...

Sixty-five years ago today our family was blessed with the arrival of a beautiful new baby boy.  Being your sister, I know we would go out together to celebrate your special day. Reginald ramsey or what my mother and i were known to call him "rey" we knew him long ago and he was always remebered to have a very kind heart, my mother and i will always have that memory of him as the great person that we knew, may he rest in peace and will live on in the memorys of his loved ones.

I am sorry about your loss, Gina and family/friends. I lost my mother on February 8th so I feel a lot of the same pain. I hope everyone is doing okay.

A month ago you left this world, but left behind a sea of memories. You have a beautiful grandson on the way, and even though you won't get to meet him in person, I know that you are with him as you watch him grow into a healthy baby boy. You would've been so proud. Doug & I are truly blessed. I love & miss you.

Up until I was about 8 years old, I didn't have any aunts, uncles and cousins.  So when my Mom married your Uncle Richard, I not only got a new loving Dad, but also got a huge instant family.  From then on began making some of my fondest childhood memories from sitting around the dining room table at Omama's watching in awe as you seemingly inhaled 2 huge plates of food and listening to how you could justify eating that much because you went for a long run earlier and would workout again later.  Then later playing in the park across the street or a trip with Omama's to the country house for a few days.  You were always a big inspiration to me to take the best care of our bodies in order to stay healthy.  I know you have found a favorite trail to run on and are ready to sit down with Omama and Papa for one of those amazing dinners.  Lily and Kathy, I'm praying that these heart felt messages give you comfort and the sadness you feel in your hearts will soon be replaced by all the wonderful memories to live on forever. I met Reggie thru my brother while at the gym. He was a regular there and always talked abit before he continued on with his workouts. I miss those workout days with him.

I have so many fond, funny, and happy memories of Reggie!  Around the table at Omama's -- watching Reggie sit down with ENORMOUS plates of food, only to watch in awe as he went back for seconds (and don't forget dessert - Strawberry Shortcake!)!!  He always welcomed me with a huge smile, a loving - yet powerful shake to the shoulders, and a hearty "LESLIE!".  You just couldn't help but meet that contagious heart-warming smile with a smile of your own!  You will be greatly missed Reg!  xoxo

I have missed Reggie since he stopped working out at the same gym where I did and will miss him, particularly when I work out again. Reggie was always friendly, cheerful, and eager to share humorous conversations.  He always had a great smile when I knew him and he always brightened my day when we met.  His long battle with fatal illness always saddened me, but his strong efforts to lead a happy life lifted my own spirits at the same times nevertheless .

Lily, as a mother, my heart breaks for you.  Kathy, God bless you, for always being there for Reg.  I'll always fondly remember our family get-togethers.  Reggie was such fun guy to be around. I don't know anyone who enjoyed putting away a plate of food as much as Reg. My kids loved those times. I smile everytime I think of Reggie and have the fondest memories growing up together as a family. Living in Houston as a child, we only saw each other a few times a year at family/holiday gatherings at Omama and Papa's. Never once did I hear Reggie say an unkind word to or about anyone, nor complain about anything. Instead he was always smiling. His way of greeting me was with a huge smile, genuine handshake and a drum roll he'd play on his belly with cupped hands....his rhythm was quite good I might add!!! I will miss you Reggie and am grateful I got to visit with you, Kathy and Aunt Lilly last August as I was traveling West. God Bless, peace and comfort to your family and friends whom will keep your memory alive.

Aunt Lilly and Kathy, I remember family gathering every holiday at Omama's house.  Easter egg hunts and Thanksgiving dinners and Christmas Eve.  We would all be there.  Cousins, huddled in the kitchen until the eggs were hidden and until the "sleigh bells jinggled", indicating Santa had come. Reggie's smile was always present and he would go out of his way to greet each of us.  He always showed genuine interest and caring. I have written him many times since we lost Omama and because of that lost our place of congregation.  He always had encouraging words and shared his endless positive energy freely!!
Gina, the picture posted here with your dad holding you is exactly how I remember him.  You know how much he loves you. He was a rare and tender soul !! He will be truly missed!

Our deepest sympathies go to Reggie's family.  I do smile whenever I think of you, Reggie, because you were always such a kind and wonderful man.  Of course, my earliest memories of you were climbing in our big oak tree on Campbell Rd.  I know how you loved sitting up in that tree.

Reggie was a good friend, I always enjoyed talking with him about our mutual love for South America especially Colombia. My wife Olga and I send our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Rest in peace Reg, you will be missed.

Some people have the gift of smiling at the world, and some people have that extra something that makes the world smile back. Through the changes time works on all of us, he never forgot a face or name and would make his way through a crowd of any size in any place to say hello.  We usually think of our friends as people we spend a lot of good times with, but I will think of Reggie as someone I saw rarely but always exchanged joy and memories with when I did.  I won't see him again in this life, but the joy and memories will always survive.
