

Richard K. “Dick” Culver, born October 22, 1925 to Millard and Jeannette Culver in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, passed away March 3, 2012 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Culver was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and five brothers, his beloved wife of 61 years, Mavis J. Culver, and a son, Everett Culver. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Willson and husband, Stan; son, Richard M. Culver and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Abbie, Karlie, Angela, Jennifer, Michael, Scott, and Stanley Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Robin Weber and Elaine Culver; brother, Gregory Culver, and by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Mr. Culver served his country proudly in the Army during World War II. Dick was a devoted family man. There was nothing he enjoyed more than traveling all over to visit family, and barbecuing at large family reunions. He also enjoyed fishing and gardening.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Heights Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in the Chapel of Heights Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Garden of Memories, Houston, Texas.
