Richard Glen Davis, Sr

On November 12, 1956, Richard Glen Davis Sr. was born to the late Levale Davis and Lucy Mae Robinson. He graduated from Delta High School in Bastrop, Louisiana, where he met and married the love of his life, Galen J. Davis and later moved to Houston, TX.  He pursued his career as a painter at Budweiser in Houston, TX for 20+ years. Richard Davis Sr. was reliable and his doors were always open to family and friends. He had a heart that exemplified his love to many.  Anyone who knew him knew his love for cooking and fishing. Richard Davis Sr. departed on March 30, 2017. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Galen Davis, mother Lucy Mae Brown, sisters Tanzy Ellis and Aurease Hartwell. He is survived by: 3 daughters and one son; Dietra (Roderick) Sharkey, Aurease (Parrish) Davis-Ned, Lakythia (Steve) Buschmann, Richard Davis Jr. 6 great grandchildren; Jazzlyn Sharkey, D’Shaun Bannis, Tatyana Sharkey, Jade Simmons, Quinton Sharkey, Phillip Ned. One sister, Veronica (Roger) Rigston; 7 brothers; Derrail Davis, Timothy Davis, Reginald (Darlene) Davis, Andre (Catherine) Davis, Donald Davis, Ricky (Myeshia) Davis and Eric Davis.
