Riley Andrew Napier

He graduated from Reagan High School in 1952 and served in the US Army from 1953-1956. He received an honorable discharge from the Army. He enjoyed classical music, motorcycles, and spending time with his family. He retired from Shell Oil Company in 1995 with 25 years of service. Riley will be fondly remembered as a loving father, proud patriot, and US Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Carlene Napier, his sons, Chris, James, Michael and Paul, daughter in laws, Jessica and Carrie, grandson in law, Nathan Wallace, grandsons, Dylan and Austin, granddaughter, Riley Ann, and great granddaughter, Elsie. Also left to cherish his memory is his nephew Scott Hastings and niece Lisa Hastings Johnson. We would also like to acknowledge his late lifelong friends Paul and Jane Jackson, and their son and daughter Matthew and Sarah.

A graveside service for Riley will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
