Riyan Jelani Ward (Ry-Ry) was born on April 20, 2022 to Ryan Ward and Iesha Upshaw. The youngest sibling along with her four brothers, Riyan had an affectionate smile and was wise beyond her years. She earned the nickname Ry-Ry and Miss Lady because she was the boss! She loved Gracie’s Corner, Ms. Rachel, the Magical School Bus, Bluey, and all kinds of candy! She attended Yeager Elementary School and was in Pre-Kindergarten.
She was preceded in death by her great-grand parents Ceomon Moore, Argentra Moore, Jessie Upshaw, Nathaniel Upshaw, Ruby Lee Johnson, Dorothy Ward, Willie Ward, Aunts Virginia McDow and Susie Marie Ward.
Her beautiful influence will forever be cherished by her parents Ryan Ward and Iesha Upshaw; her brothers Isaiah McNutt, Brayden Ward, Bryan Ward and Kahari Upshaw; her grandparents Carol Ward, Otis Henderson, James and Marva Upshaw. her great-grandparents Otis Demerson and Ruthie Lee Henderson; her Aunt Otrissia Ward; her Uncle Bradley Strambler; her Godparents Victoria Henderson and Reginald Noel; along with a host of aunts, uncles and family members.
