

Bob was born on April 12, 1954, to Antonio M. Arriaga Jr. and Emerita L. Arriaga in Richmond, Texas.
He began his lifelong career journey as a certified personal trainer and life coach at the University of Houston and with the Houston Astros during the 1970's. His passion and commitment to his friends, family and clients was unparalleled. All those who met or worked with Bob speak of feeling a soulful connection that will remain with them in his absence.
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter, instilled in him by his father and brother. He was skilled at woodworking, loved a challenging project, and could repair anything. Most known for his unmatched work ethic, deep spirituality, and generous heart.
Bob was the role model for all for what it means to be a good man with true integrity.
He was our rock, our confidante, our cheerleader, and our hero.
He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Arriaga Jr., his mother, Emerita Arriaga, and his sister, Elicia Arriaga.
Bob is survived by his partner Angie Helman and his brother Jose Arriaga and Jose's wife, Sam, of Weimar, Texas.
A Gathering will be held at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, TX 77008, on June 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM., with a prayer and sharing starting at 12 noon.
In lieu of flowers, Bob wanted donations in honor of Robert Arriaga to World Central Kitchen.
