Roberta this was truly a beautiful service in memory of Bobby. The sermon on "The Fruits of the Spirit" truly captured my cousin Bobby.

Deacon Robert Brew was one of my favorites at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church-a man of God and honor, and family whom I wanted to live up to. Rest assured he has his wings of gold and is resting in peace.  My deepest condolences to the family during this time. RIH, Bobby the name we called you  as a little boy living  on Roger Street in Independence Heights (Studewood) U have earned your  wings... God loved U best 

We called him "Bobby!" Reflecting, we grew up on Jerry St. in Studewood, from elementary school through adulthood.  "Bobby" was somewhat quiet and had a calm, gentle, intelligent and suave demeanor.  We all made the best of being neighbors and had the utmost respect for each other. Never any harsh words or ill exchanges. Of course, everyone eventually grew up and embarked on their own journey,  but the love still existed. I am certain that "Bobby" was loved and will be missed; however,  "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord!" Know  that he now rests with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I extend my sincere condolences to the family.
