

?Robert was born on June 13, 1968 to Carnell and Odessa Daniels in the West End area of Houston, Texas. He attended Ben Milam Elementary School, James S. Hogg Middle School and was a 1987 graduate of Mirabeau B. Lamar High School. After accepting Christ and being baptized at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. E.L. Edwards Jr., he became an active member of the youth choir and participated in various programs at the church. As an adult, Robert joined Garden Oaks Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Jeff Rees. He was a member of the choir, Mens Bible Class and volunteered his time to help out at the church. Robert loved music of all kinds and you could often see him playing his “air guitar” to his favorites. Robert could read, write and speak Spanish and Vietnamese and loved his football. Robert worked for Del Mar Lanes until the time of his death. Previously, he worked for Big Lots for 10 plus years and Blockbuster Videos for 10 years. He touched everyone who he came in contact with and will always be remembered for always smiling. Robert Lee Daniels went to live with his heavenly father on July 4, 2018. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Carnell and Odessa Daniels, nephew Clepatrick Palmer, Grandparents Luvenia and Robert Scranton, Oren C. Davis and Johnelle Warren. Great Grandparents Tempie Toland and Lottie Fantop. His memory will be cherished by his sister, Tracy Daniels-Mattax, nephew C’eori Palmer and great nephew C’eori II. Aunts: Annie Hoxie, Linda Davis, Anita Wyatt (Andrew), Patricia Ruffins (Charles), Janet Curry (Kirk), Donna Scranton-Lynch, Sandra Scranton-Walker, Ora Davis, Marthella Cain, Faye Kiduff, Irene Dodson and Sharon Price. Great Aunts: Odessa June, Lillie Thomas and Willie Johnson. Uncles: Robert Scranton and Seither Washington. His Best Friend since childhood Dolores “Dena” Geier (Chris) and roommate Johnathan Petty and host of cousins and co-workers and the entire West End family.
