Robert Michael Floyd

Born in Texas, to Paul and Martha, he married the love of his life, Neda, in December 1982. Michael and Neda have three children, Cissi, Josh and Christopher. Known to everyone he met as Michael or Mike, he retired from Mobile Industrial Safety Supplies as Vice President of Sales in 2020. Michael never met a stranger and every Sunday you would find him worshipping the Lord at First Baptist Church.

Michael enjoyed playing his drums, attending concerts and comedy shows, and traveling the world with his wife. He was a collector of celebrity autographs and loved to tell the stories of the day he got it. He loved his family deeply, lived his life always helping others and sharing his life experiences.

Michael is survived by his wife Neda Floyd, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and his brother Lynn Floyd (Lilia Floyd). They include his daughter Cissi Gates (Bruce Gates), son Josh Reagan, son Christopher Floyd (Elizabeth Floyd), granddaughter Stephanie Barber, grandson Jared Barber (Shannon Barber),granddaughter Megan Briggs (Keith Cannon), grandson Noah Gates, grandson William Floyd, granddaughter Madison Floyd, grandson Dominick Floyd, granddaughter Amelia Floyd, great-granddaughter Audrey, great-grandson Eryn, and great-grandson Cash.

He is preceded in death by his father Paul Floyd (1999), and mother Martha Gates (2016).

Services will be held at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston 77060 on Saturday, September 16 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be at Friday, September 15, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
