Robert Allen Kingsbury, Jr., of Houston, Texas, at the age of 79, was called by the Lord on February 4, 2013. Robert was born to Robert A., Sr. and Ada Grace Kingsbury in Kalamazoo, Michigan. After graduating from Spring Branch High School, Class of 1953, he pursued a masonry career achieving a lifetime membership with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. Robert was a long time member and faithful servant of St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Warwick Kingsbury, of 59 years; children, Suzy and Eldon Yeager and Sherry and Jessie Reyna; grandchildren, Trevor and Kathy Yeager, Jeremy and Joanna Reyna, Hilary and Randy Vaughn, and Cassie and Bryan Lane; great-grandchildren, Brett Yeager, Kasey Yeager, Jocelyn Reyna; numerous family and friends; and his devoted dog, Pebbles.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday in the Waltrip Chapel. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
