Robert “Bob” Neal Perry was born March 15, 1941 in Houston, Texas, to Bessie Levonia Cooke and Earl C. Perry. He graduated from Altus High School in Atlus, Oklahoma, in 1959 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State in 1963. Bob married the love of his life, Toni Jo Lusk on February 13, 1982 and fathered his children Jessica Hooks (Brandon) and John David “Jay” Perry (Noelle), and enjoyed his grandchildren, Abby Jo Hooks, Graham Perry, and Reid Perry, all of whom he was very proud. Bob worked in the oil and gas industry for 47 years in Texas with such companies as Hughes Tools, K&M Tools, Union Texas Petroleum, Ocean Energy, and BHP Billiton. He retired in 2008 to spend time at home on his hobbies, such as being a jigsaw puzzle whiz, a brilliant carpenter, a true engineer for model trains, and a hunting aficionado. In fact, Bob was a founding member of the Concho Hunting Club where he spent his fondest years and formed his greatest friendships while enjoying the great outdoors.
Bob passed from this life on June 28, 2021, at the age of 80 at his home in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by both his parents, his brother Randy Perry (Kim) and sister Pam McMahon (Greg) and survived by his wife Toni, his two children and their spouses, three grandchildren, his brother Jim Swaffar, and numerous nieces, nephews, and family friends.
