Robert Bruce Radford, age 77, was warmly welcomed home by his youngest daughter, who preceded him in death in June of 2003. Robert peacefully entered into rest, in his home with his oldest daughter by his side on January 7th, 2021. Robert was an amazing artist, even though he hasn't drawn or painted in many years. He was an Air Force Reservist when he was younger. Robert was married for over 15 years to Anita Robertson (Brooks) & had two daughters.

Robert’s first love was his family, and he was always there for any of them. No matter what! Robert was always eager to help anyone that needed him. He was always there to lend a hand to those who needed it. He was a wonderful father to Tracy & Tanya, but had enough love to share with anyone else that needed a temporary farther figure.

His second love was cars, and he spent most of his career around cars. He loved his Mazda RX7 so much that he once said he wanted to be buried in it, but that was before he found out how much the cemetery property cost.

Robert enjoyed going to the beach, but those of you who really know him realize it mostly just to look at the bikinis. He was very funny and forever always joking around. You never knew if he was telling the truth or just messing with you. He told his oldest daughter that he was from the planet Pluto when she was little & she believed that until she was about 12 years old. That’s who he was!

Robert is survived by his oldest daughter Tracy McCormack (James); sister Sharon Budzise, brother Ronald Radford (Marga); nieces & nephews Sheila Budzise, Teresa Lee (Randy), Tina Weaver (Tim), Christopher Budzise (Jon), Monica Lee & Melissa Lee & honorary grandsons Austin Lee and Preston Lee. Robert was preceded in death by youngest daughter Tanya Radford; father Julian Radford and mother Dorothy Radford; youngest sister Sandra Lee. The family would like to heartfully thank cousins Jean Tompkins and Rena Jackson for so lovingly taking care of Robert over the last month like he was their family. Both ladies will always have a special place in our hearts. A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas 77060. One memory I have of Robert is when he would come to visit us at Momo’s house he would get his mug and fill it up with coffee in the kitchen. He then would come sit down in the recliner and place the mug on his knee. He would fall asleep shortly after and some how, that mug would balance on his knee for hours while he sleeps in the chair. I thought that was so fascinating when he would do that and could never figure out how he did it. The funniest thing was that he would wake up and drink it, then put it back on his knee like it was nothing.

I didn't think I would be writing this memory for you, this early in life. You have always been a caring wonderful brother. We all four had lots of good times together growing up. We were always there for each other through good and bad times. Mama and Daddy always assured us that God would be with us every step of our lives. Having a huge family with Grandma and Grandpa Husfeld was also a blessing. So happy that Austin, Preston, Ethan, Jade, Jace, and Carter got to know you. They always enjoyed visiting with you. I remember the story Mama told me about the two lamps in her bedroom. How when you got your first job, you bought them for her and brought them home on your bicycle. I still have the gold charm bracelet you gave me on my 16th birthday. How you wore the black jacket ( like Fonzi on Happy Days). Watching you and Ronald washing your cars in the driveway on Weems and Sandra and I helping you. You always loved being a dad to Tracy and Tanya and was a very hard worker at everything you did. Sheila and I enjoyed visiting with you each week, watching game shows and sports on TV, getting the latest updates and eating cheeseburgers. Helping and caring for family and friends was always the most important thing in your life. We will all be together again someday to have a wonderful family reunion with Jesus. You will always be in my heart and I will always cherish our memories together. Love, your sister, Sharon.

Bob was our next door neighbor and I have to say the quietest neighbor we ever had in 42 yrs. of living here. There was a time when had to knock on his door to be sure he was alright. I loved his RX7 and wish I would have taken a ride with Bob just to see how it ran. Will miss you Bob. What a great family you have.

Robert we are all going to miss you a lot. You were always there
if we needed you for help. Had hoped the two of us would have
been able to make a trip together when you got well to Big Bend
one time. I know right now you are together with Mom Dad
Tanya Sandra and Glenn. We always loved you but for myself
did not say it often. Wish i had. I was hoping my Mustang would
have been running and sitting next to the RX7. that would have
been quite a site. Goodbye for now. Love you always.

He was a great guy. Never saw him get angry. Always helping various family members. Heard stories of him trying to help people outside his family, also. Robert will really be missed.

Robert was a great uncle. He sold me my first car and showed me how to change the oil on it. He was always there when the family needed him. He also looked out for all of us. He will be missed.

The Robert I knew and loved was somewhat reserved, but very smart, kind, and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed our visits at family gatherings and at the dealership when we needed a car or truck. I enjoyed seeing the family photos, especially the one of Robert on the pony! Our deepest condolences, Robert will be greatly missed. Love, Elaine & David
