Robert Gordon Watts, born April 6, 1982 in Houston, Texas, passed away January 29, 2011 in Houston. He graduated from St. Pius X High School and from the University of Houston Downtown. He was employed by the University of Houston Financial Department Central Campus. Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert J. Watts and his wife Anita M. Watts; and maternal grandparents, Gordon B. Binford and his wife Marie C. Binford. He is survived by his parents, Robert C. Watts and Martha Binford Watts; sister, Susanne M. Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church, 600 Pecore St., Houston, Texas at 10am with a visitation starting one hour prior on Thursday, February 3, 2011. Services will be officiated by Reverend Marilyn Meeker-Williams. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 816 Montrose Boulevard.
