

Roberto was a hard working father and loving husband, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a 30 year crane operator and worked at numerous plants throughout highway 225 in the Houston/Pasadena area. When he wasn’t at work his passion was riding on his tractor and working on his land. It was a reminder of his childhood growing up in Mexico with his parents. He will always be remembered as the jokester of the family. If you ever met him rest assured you were given a nickname.
Roberto passed on July 12th, 2026 at the age of 76. He was born April 23rd 1950 to Genaro Quiroz and Juana Garcia Quiroz. Roberto was born in Elsa, Tx and grew up in Montemorelos, NL Mexico and as a teenager moved back to the United States where he spent the rest of his life. Roberto met Maria Emma Guadalupe (deceased) and fell in love and married and had 4 children Margarita Quiroz, San Juanita Quiroz Ruiz, Roberto Quiroz Jr and Samuel Quiroz. Roberto took pride in his family and was a family man.
Roberto is survived by his 4 children. 13 grandkids: Robert L. Luna, Jasmine Cavazos, Isla L. Ruiz, Emma L. Quiroz, Maklum L. Quiroz, Robert Quiroz III, Kassandra V. Quiroz, Marco A. Quiroz, Selena M. Quiroz (deceased), Mariah M. Quiroz, Julian M. Quiroz, Delilah E. Quiroz, Roman X. Quiroz. 9 great grandkids: Robert L. Luna Jr, Beverly A. Luna, Emma M. Luna, Ryan J. Luna, Lilybeth Luna (deceased), Jovanny A. Vega, Maezlynn M. Quiroz, Marc A. Quiroz Jr, Madilynn Quiroz.6.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023, US, on July 15, 2026, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
