Rogelio Ramos Moreno

Rogelio Ramos, 67 of Houston, TX, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on May 14, 2023, at home. He was born in Miguel Aleman on February 8, 1956. In 1970 Rogelio met the love of his life Consuelo Ibanes in Roma Tx. He was married to Consuelo Ibanes de Ramos for 50 years. Rogelio was loved and his family stayed by his side till he was called home.

In 1974 Rogelio married Consuelo and welcomed their first child and many children in the years to follow. Rogelio was a gas pipe welder and machine operator in Frisco, TX. from 1977 to 1990. In 1990, the Ramos Family moved to Houston TX., and Rogelio began working in the Trucking Industry. After the kids grew up, Consuelo joined Rogelio in his work-traveling journey. Rogelio loved his life, wife, and family, and being a truck driver for 7G’s Trucking. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and could do no wrong! He would pick up his grandkids on his way home and give them a ride in his 18-wheeler. Rogelio’s passion was fixing things and mechanic work. Rogelio would always find a way to get things done, even if that meant inventing a way, he was going to do it. Rogelio enjoyed having his kids and grandkids around and would teach them! When Rogelio wasn’t fixing things, he loved blasting his speaker during the weekend while making sure his yard was clean. He also enjoyed going to the casinos with his wife and kids! Rogelio did not care how tired he was. His last wishes were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary and within 6 days the family made it happen!

He was survived by his wife, Consuelo Ibanes de Ramos, and his kids: Edgar, Rolando, Elizbeth, Ruben, Karla, Keyla, and Martha. His grandchildren are Rene, Brittany, Natalie, Jordan, DavidPaul, Edgar Aiden, Randy, Christian, Rolando, Hailey, Angel, CJ, Destiny, April, Eli, Yamilex, Alaina, and Mia. His great-grandchildren are Matthew, Isaiah, Saylor, and Lux. His siblings are Marisol, Elia, Nora, and Nene. His Son/Daughter in-laws are, Emabely, Beatriz, Cheryl, Gerardo, Craig, and Adrian. And many more extended family and friends.

He was Preceded in death by his mother Teodora Moreno and Father Placido Ramos. His Siblings Jose, Adan, Cesar, Placido, Manuel, Secundio, Godfrey, Martha and Eva Ramos and his Daughter in law, Kimberly Sheffield.

Memories of Rogelio will forever be in our hearts. His family invites you to celebrate his life. His service arrangements will be held at 12:00pm on May 26, 2023, at Earthman Resthaven Funeral and Cemetery.
