Two years now have passed and I thought it would have gotten easier. Truth is, it probably never will. The sadness is always there and we miss you so much. I speak to you in my dreams and sometimes feel you near but it's still not enough cause I really wish you were here. I love you Daddy and miss you so very much!!!! ?

Melissa, I am Carrie's friend from high school and met your daddy through Carrie. He was a wonderful smiley kind of person. Just wanted to say that I loved all the beautiful words you expressed about your daddy. When I read your message today, it truly brought tears to my eyes. You sound like a sweet girl who really misses her daddy very much. I'm sure he's looking down and smiling at you. He is your Angel.

Take care and God Bless.

It's been one year now Dad and it hasn't gotten any easier. I know you are in a better place now looking down on us but I selfishly wish you were here. I miss you so much and can't understand why you had to leave us so soon. Just doesn't seem fair. You lived your life taking care of everyone and being the best human being you could. Listening to so many of your friends, childhood friends, speak of you made me so much more proud to have you for a father. They all spoke of how great a friend you always were and how much they treasured that friendship. I don't even know how else to express what a great dad and grandfather you were. I feel like the luckiest girl on earth to have had you as my dad!
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I weep secretly when no one is around. My heart still aches for you as I imagine it will until we see each other again someday. We all love you and miss you so very much dad. I know that God is taking care of you now and that you are in comfort. I also know that you're not alone up there and hope that y'all are all having a great time together.

Locked in our hearts, you will always be loved and remembered for all eternity.

Love you dad, always!

Sorry to hear of Roy passing, got word yesterday 02/19/2011 and had a vague recollection of him, but I did remember his features and am agreement with what is mentioned of him and remember him from the Davis years late 1960's. Sorry to see him go at an early age.

Melissa, Anna and I want to you to know we will be keeping you and your family in our prayers. Roy will be dearly missed. We had some good times in our young age at Jeff Davis. I just remember his smiling face and how a good guy he was. Now he is in a better place and at peace. You take care and God Bless You.
